Climbing Policies and Procedures
Your day may be cancelled by you, your guide, or the weather. High Xposure Adventures Inc. reserves the right to cancel or request a delayed start to a climbing day due to inclement weather conditions. We do not climb in the rain. The weather changes daily - please contact us the evening before your scheduled day if you have concerns about the weather. If the weather conditions are questionable, and we make it to 1:00pm before it begins to rain, then our obligation to the climbing party has been met, and we are to be paid in full. If we decide to start the day and it rains before 1:00pm, then a rain check will be given. A rain check is not a refund but rather an opportunity to reschedule to complete your day. When canceling a climbing day we must have a 72-hour notice or your trip deposit will be forfeited. If it is a cancellation due to weather we will refund your deposit and this decision is made by us generally the evening prior to the climbing date. Our cancellation policy is designed as job security for our guides. Last-minute cancellations mean a day of work lost. We have the most experienced guides in the region and this policy gives them some reliability in their career as guides. High Xposure Adventures Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any participants who may not be properly fit or properly outfitted to attend this activity and payment will be refunded.
Payment must be received in full upon the arrival of clients or client on the morning of the days activity. Payment can be made by cash, check or a credit card with the exception of American Express. If payment is not received before the services are rendered, High Xposure Adventures Inc. reserves the right to cancel.
Although we can plan to climb a specific route or peak, no guarantees are made. It is High Xposure Adventure Inc. purpose to use our judgment and experience to share with you a rewarding experience. If an unsafe situation arises, the guide makes the final decision and may turn around. There will be no refunds or rescheduling. However, if time allows, while we are on the trip another attempt may be arranged.
