Hey Bobby. This is Brett Aquila. I went climbing with Andrew last week on Tuesday 6/14 and Wednesday 6/15.

The first thing I want to say is that Andrew was absolutely awesome in every way. Obviously with decades of experience his knowledge is incredible. But I knew all of your guides had plenty of technical skills to get me up and down safely. What I was most concerned about was finding someone with the right personality and Andrew was a home run right off the bat. We got along perfectly, had a ton of fun, and I learned continuously. I asked him to push me a little bit to see what I could do since it was the first time I had ever been climbing.
Not only did he push me, but he pushed me far beyond what I thought I was capable of. I thought I was going to be a complete fool up there but the techniques he showed me and the encouragement he gave me pushed me past sections that seriously had me thinking I was sunk. A few times I was ready to just sit on the rope and throw in the towel but he'd say, "I already know you can pull that move. Just do it. It'll go." And every time it did. And every time I was shocked.
Then on the second day he dialed back the intensity a bit and took me up "Andrew" which was a super fun route. It had a great variety that allowed me to try several different things he had taught me and I had virtually no trouble getting up it at all. The perfect route to round out the trip. Just what I was hoping for.
Well I've decided that I'd really like to pursue this further. I'd love to make several more trips out there this season and climb with Andrew. I already told him I'm not interested in climbing with anyone else. I told him, "If you're not available, I'm not climbing. I'll wait till you're free." Really, he could not have been more fun.
I went to Rock And Snow's website and bought a bunch of equipment - harness, climbing line, static line, grigri, carabiners, and a few others things. I'm going to get shoes next time I go out there. So I'm definitely ready to push forward, learn all I can, and get a lot more great climbing in this season. I'm spending the next couple of weeks working on some fitness stuff and learning knots and climbing techniques. I want to make a pretty solid improvement the next time out.
Thanks so much for a great experience and I especially wanted to put in the great word about Andrew and the fantastic job he did. He gets a perfect 5 star rating straight across the board in every way. I certainly have no intentions of climbing with anyone else.

We returned to Montauk about half hour ago. I just wanted to say that today exceeded my expectations and the kids were THRILLED with the whole experience. It was such a memorable day. You were so accommodating and reassuring throughout the entire process. Mark was wonderful too and I have no doubt we will repeat the adventure in the future.
My husband is definitely interested in bringing the boy scouts up there in the fall and will be in touch. We would not hesitate to recommend you and your company to anyone.

We wanted to say thanks for an exhilarating experience. Andrew, besides being a superb instructor was really fun and pleasant to be with. He was easy to talk to, helped us or should I say me, stay calm and was a great instructor. While belaying 50 feet below, he was able to guide us as to where to put our toes or find a hand hold as if he was standing beside us. He knew the face of the mountain better than I know the potholes on the block I live on. He was able to get a 60 year old man to climb up 60-70 feet on what initially looked like a bare cliff face and then willingly go back up again. Almost makes going back to work livable when you have memories like this to think about when you feel the office walls closing in. Thanks again, I never thought I would be able to do something like this and now we are looking forward to some ice climbing in the winter. Andrew said it is just as much fun.

Bobby, Just wanted to thank you for a great time on Saturday...everyone had a wonderful experience during the climb. In particular, I wanted thank you for being so good with my kids who had never climbed outdoors before--and who both discovered abilities they never thought they had. Great job!! Had the best time with Scott from High Xposure. My boyfriend and I are new climbers (he has gone a few times) and Scott was so helpful!

I was pretty much terrified going into it and Scott was great at keeping everything really calm. He read us both very well and helped us get the most out of the day. We went on 4 different climbs (up a few times each climb) and by the end we were completely exhausted! He was great about letting us take breaks, and keep trying after we had tried and fallen a few times. We felt completely safe and confident with his guidance.

He talked us up climbs and as the day went on, taught us how to tie the knots, set up our gear, use certain grips, and got us comfortable with climbing lingo. He started us on easier climbs and gave us more difficult options as the day went on. We felt like we got a complete experience using High Xposure. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a great day with Scott from High Xposure! He was extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. He even put up with our lame jokes and puns all day. Really happy we went with High Xposure for our first outdoor experience. Highly recommended!

Had a truly great day with Bobby Ferrari of High Xposure. We were a family of 4 including 2 boys, 8 and 10, with no climbing experience and by the end of the day were climbing 80 foot rocks. Bobby is helpful, patient, and kind, which I especially appreciated with young kids. He had the gear we needed and taught us a lot of technique while staying safe the whole time. At the end of the day, we were approached by a group of hikers who asked how many years we had been climbing given that our son was about 30 feet up on the rocks and I was belaying him. They could not believe we just started out that AM. I think we signed them up for a trip right there.

Cannot recommend it enough if you want to do some serious climbing in a fun and safe way.

Bobby and his crew of guides are always great. I climb in the gym alot but my first time outdoors was with his group and from the first time I knew these guys are legit! I have climbed with them several times now and have also brought several friends with me and each time I walk away feeling like I had a blast and know more and more about climbing and everyone has raved about them. They will provide gear if you don't have, and their stuff is all quality gear. They are safe, responsible and highly knowledgeable, which is always of utmost importance when climbing. and they always make sure you have a fun time. They gauge your level of climbing and find a healthy mix of fun, challenge, and safety for you every time. Whenever I go climbing in the gunks, I only choose Bobby Ferrari and his crew!

I'm not a customer, but I wanted to send my thanks for a very positive experience I had with one of your guides (I think his jacket said High Xposure on it). I didn't catch his name, but I was up at the Gunks with some of my friends getting ready to do my first lead climb, starting with Dennis. I struggled with the first few moves, being a little to short to reach one of the crucial jug holds and took my first lead fall on the first piece of pro I ever placed as a leader. Not only did he end up spotting me during the fall (thankfully the pro placement was good, but I would have swung a lot without his help), but he also gave me some really good advice about leading and taking it slow so that I could feel confident and strong during the climb. After he left, my partner and I switched over to Belly Roll next door and I had a successful lead climb there. It meant a lot to me that he took the time to help me out, and I don't think I would have had the confidence to go up and lead again without his kind words.

Hello High Xposure! I am very excited to tell you that the experience my boyfriend David and I had with Pete on Sunday 26 Feb 2012 at the Gunks was Mind Blowing and very inspirational (especially for being my very first time!!) :) Even though I cried, I still had a blast! Pete was amazing, his technique, skill and patience was greatly appreciated. David was in his zone the whole time, he got a taste of what is in store for his future! I can not thank you enough for this awesome experience. I still can not believe that it actually happened. Even though I cried like a little baby climbing up, that motivated me to keep going with climbing. The feeling you get after you do something like that is very rewarding. Hope to see you again! Although I didn't fulfill my objective of previewing Madame G's and Shockley's Ceiling, I did some great climbing - Roseland, Birdland, Transcontinental Nailway (my first 5.10 in the 'Gunks!), Birdie Party and Higher Stannard, as well as Limelight and Middle Earth. The confidence in my climbing that I developed on the harder climbs will undoubtedly help me be more comfortable on unfamiliar leads at moderate grades. Jon, Thank you and Mike for an awesome experience! The children had a wonderful time, learned a lot about all parts of cliff climbing. Thanks for setting up my "birthday" climb this week. The service that Bart Paull provided as guide was outstanding. My week of climbing with High X-Posure was an experience beyond my expectations. As you know, I chose your guide company because of the customer testamonials and rave reviews. I couldn't have made a better choice!

I was expecting great guides and great climbing. I not only got that, but I received an all out Gunks experience that was a dream come true.

Spending the week with Jason was like being in a climbing movie! Whether it was pushing my limits on hard climbs, cruising the classics, or hanging from a ledge exchanging high fives, he went far beyond his responsibilities to show me an amazing time. He was super concerned for my safety, supported my goals with endless enthusiasm, and went well out of his way to make sure I was introduced to and engaged with the Gunks community. He is an amazing athlete, climber, and person, and I feel so fortunate to have shared the rock with him!!!

Climbing with you on my last day was a perfect way to end the week! Your positive attitude, and the way you care for your clients, impressed me so much. You treat everyone like they are family, and bend over backwards to make sure everyone is having a great experience on and off the rock. The Gunks is a better place because of the awesome people from High X !

Can't wait to come back very soon (like in a few weeks!) and climb with your company again. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
